About this Report
The dashboard shows the number of students and staff attending or working in brick-and-mortar schools with reported cases of COVID-19.
Student cases are reported based on those attending in-person classes, as well as extra-curricular participants, and not those solely enrolled through Duval HomeRoom or Duval Virtual.
All data are provisional and subject to
change based on confirmed updates.
The dashboard is updated Monday – Friday by approximately 8 p.m.
Sept. 28, 2020 clarification: The dashboard only reports Duval County Public School employee or student cases impacting school operations. The total number of employees or students diagnosed with COVID-19 may be higher.
Nov. 2, 2020 update: To improve the timeliness of reporting, a case will be posted when it is a confirmed positive COVID-19 case. Prior to Nov. 2, cases were posted at the completion of the contact investigation of a confirmed positive COVID-19 case. (The Jan. 13, 2021 update below supersedes this update.)
Jan. 13, 2021 update: To expedite sharing of information with families and the community, the district will now post new cases at the time the district is made aware of a case involving a member of the on-campus school community. These cases are reported to the Department of Health, which under Florida statute is responsible for determining if contact tracing needs to occur and for conducting that case investigation. Cases reported to the district on weekends or holidays will be entered and published on the next day of district operations. More information is available
